ADJUNCT FACULTY-COMMUNICATIONS-Fundamentals of Advertising
The College of Saint Rose is a dynamic institution of higher education, enrolling more than 4,200 students. Located in the City of Albany, the heart of New York State’s Capital Region, the College is a private, independent, coeducational institution, defined by dedicated faculty, administrators, and staff, all focused on transforming the lives of our students. Through a strong liberal education curriculum, and professional programs, Saint Rose serves four-year and transfer students and working professionals in undergraduate, graduate degree and advanced certificate programs in four academic schools: Arts and Humanities; Business; Education; and Mathematics and Sciences. To augment our dedicated full time faculty and respond to enrollment demands, we occasionally seek highly qualified ADJUNCT FACULTY to teach day and evening courses within the Communications Department of our School of Arts and Humanities.
In the Fall 2019 semester (August 26-December 14), Fundamentals of Advertising (COM 205) is scheduled to meet two (2) mornings per week for a total class time commitment of three (3) hours. To qualify as an ADJUNCT FACULTY-COMMUNICATIONS-Fundamentals of Advertising, the successful applicant must possess:
- A Master’s degree in Communications or a related field
- Current fluency with Social media and their application in the field
- Previous experience teaching at the collegiate level is preferred
Capital Roots – Marketing Coordinator
Capital Roots is striving to create a more vibrant and equitable food system in New York’s Capital Region. We work to reduce the impact of poor nutrition on public health in New York’s Capital Region by organizing community gardens, providing healthy food access, offering nutritional and horticultural education for all ages and coordinating urban greening programs in Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady and southern Saratoga Counties. Our mission is to nourish healthy communities by providing access to fresh foods and green space for all. The Marketing Coordinator will assist in the development of Capital Roots’ public communications strategy and help guide regular communication with stakeholders, media, funders, public officials and the general public via traditional and emerging media and communications platforms.
