The Capital Region PRSA Board misses gathering at Wired Coffee and Bagel on Albany Shaker Road. We also know how hard communications teams at hospitals are working during the pandemic. Our secretary, Steve Smith of the Albany Police Department, suggested that we treat hospital communications staff to bagels and cream cheese from Wired. On a beautiful May morning, Steve, PRSA Capital Region President Kathy McCarthy of the American Heart Association and board member Paul Fahey of Overit, hit the road to drop off treats to Albany Med, St. Peter’s and Ellis Medicine. And we offer special thanks to these members of our profession who are dealing firsthand with the pandemic. We’re honored to call you colleagues, and humbled by the work you are doing.
