Our annual Women in PR event was held virtually on June 11, 2020 and featured three outstanding panelists:
- Richie C. Hunter, Vice President for Strategic Communications and External Relations, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
- Nicole Snow, Founder and CEO, Darn Good Yarn
- Darcy Wells, APR, Communications Director, New York State AFL-CIO
These women leaders (whose roles include but are not limited to public relations!) discussed how their careers and communications have been impacted by the current pandemic, how they’ve needed to pivot, and how public relations work may be permanently different due to the effects of COVID-19.
The discussion was moderated by PRSA board member and past president Heather Schechter, Director of Marketing and Business Development for Sunrise Management & Consulting.
