The day has arrived. Registration is now open for the 2011 Empire Awards to be held October 27 in the Media Room at the Crossings of Colonie.

In addition to bestowing awards in eleven different categories, we will also be singling out two individuals for special awards. Tom Nardacci, Principal and Founder of Gramercy Communications, will receive an award for Outstanding Practitioner, while Dr. Alain E. Kaloyeros, Professor of Nanoscience and Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, has been chosen as this year’s “Outstanding Communicator.”
