Creating a Strategic Social Media Marketing Campaign

Learn how to identify your brand’s voice and construct a framework for an effective social media campaign based on desired outcomes, available resources, and specific metrics. Dragon will also discuss the importance of engaging influencers and targeting niche communities of potential customers.

The Tools & Tricks for Dominating Social Media through Content
Lisa Barone, Vice President of Strategy, Overit Media
Learn how to create engaging content for your target audience by discovering what they secretly want to read about and identifying the content holes that exist in your industry. Barone will also touch on the different types of content and distribution tactics, including optimization, sharing and leveraging your “hook”.

CEO and co-founder of DragonSearch, Ric Dragon has more than 20 years of extensive experience in graphic design, information architecture, web development and digital marketing. He is a sought-after speaker, having spoken at numerous marketing and technology conferences. Ric is also a regular guest columnist for Marketing Land, and Social Media Monthly.
His new book, Social Marketology, was published by McGraw-Hill in June 2012 and has received positive reviews. His previous book, The DragonSearch Online Marketing Manual is also available.
Lisa Barone, Vice President of Strategy, Overit Media
Lisa Barone, vice president of strategy, serves on the senior staff overseeing the company’s marketing consulting, social media and content divisions. Known internationally for creating many of the best practices and strategies for social media, Lisa works with clients to create unified, mixed-media marketing strategies.
Prior to joining Overit, Lisa co-founded a leading national search agency, which she ran while serving as Chief Branding Officer for three years. Lisa has been a constant voice of insight and reason in the search world since 2006. As a noted search writer, she has founded and grown multiple blogs, all earning spots on AdAge’s Power 150, among other accolades. She has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, Inc. Magazine, Reuters, Intuit, Forbes, PBS, FOX News and others on subjects related to small business marketing, social media and search marketing.
